Tory Burch Reva Quilted Flats

Tory Burch is Chairman, CEO and Designer of Tory Burch, an American sportswear and lifestyle brand. Raised in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, Tory graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in art history, then moved to New York to pursue a career in the fashion industry.

What I’ve always loved about this fashion piece, in particular, is that it is a simplicity, but still has that golden ‘pop’ factor. I opted to get the quilted as opposed to the solid design because I wanted that extra uniqueness without looking too weird. Everyone in NYC basically wears the same styles, but we change it up here and there—that’s what makes us feel better about ourselves 😉 But it’s worth it. This shoe is about $200 and looks as great as it does in the pictures.

WARNING: One thing I do have to say negatively about this shoe is that the material is extremely hard and can be really uncomfortable. So for instance, I’m a size 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand—typically an 8.5, and for me, it fits almost perfectly, but because the material is so tight, it also rubs my foot the wrong way, if you will. The back of the shoe cuts into the back of my heel in the worst way, and after a few hours, you don’t want to wear it anymore! Two things I would suggest: 1) buy a larger size and just live with it, but without pain, or 2) buy your size and have it stretched out. I did it the home-made creative way! With water and a freezer!

But overall, love this shoe. I rate it 10/10 for looks and 5/10 for comfort (until you stretch it out a little…) Either way, you’ll look great in any city or country! 🙂
